Windows 8 CHKDSK stuck at 100% for 8 hours already

Should I just continue to wait? I'm getting really inpatient >.>
I scheduled it to run on startup, and I forgot about it.. but I don't want to continue it atm.
It was stuck at 27% yesterday, so I just left it on and went to sleep.
Today, it was stuck at 100% since I woke up, and nothing has changed.

Should I just risk it and do a shutdown and try and boot it up again?

I've read that a lot of people were stuck at 27%, but I couldn't find one person stuck at 100% like mine is.
Btw, my hard drive is about 500gb in size

Nevermind, I just risked it, which it resumed at 100% and immediately finished, which now I'm on my own computer again ^^
