Computer Science - Carleton vs U of Calgary

Hello everyone, I am a comp sci student at carleton univeristy in the software engineering stream. I like carleton, and i heard it has a decent reputation for comp sci. I now have desire to move to calgary for personal reasons, although i will only do so if it is equally a good school or better. Whats your opinion on the two schools?

The general opinion on Canadian schools is that "there's UofToronto, UWaterloo, and everything else".

Having already attended Carleton, you probably have some idea of what you might like/dislike and what kind of things to watch out for -- look into U of Calgary's info and make a judgement call for yourself (that is, Universities mean different things to different students).

Finally, take a critical look at just how well your existing credits will transfer over -- I had lost credits transferring between faculties in the same University; changing institutions to those in a different province might be even more strict.
