PostPosted: Mon Dec 10, 2012 6:34 am   Post subject: DWITE Round Cancellation

Unfortunately due to a combination of factors the December and January DWITE rounds are canceled. The last round of the school year (scheduled for February 20th, 2013) will still be held.

The decision to cancel the upcoming rounds is mainly a result of scheduling issues leaving the DWITE staff with little free time to run the contest or create new questions for the round. Additionally, recent union action in Ontario would limit the ability of teachers in the province to supervise students in the December round.

In the mean time we encourage students to explore other programming contest resources, including Project Euler.
