Too late to apply to Waterloo?

I'm in PEI and wanting to apply to waterloo. I've already gone to the Ontario Universities website and filled out an application, I haven't submitted it yet. I was just wondering:

1. Is it too late to apply?
2. Will they send me some sort of confirmation once they've received my transcripts (I am applying from PEI here so I had to ask the school to send them)

I believe you can apply after the equal-consideration deadline, but only if there's actually spots open (which for a place like Waterloo would be unlikely). Your best bet would be to call Admissions ASAP and check with them directly. :3
