i got a a question..is ther eany wya to make a chat room on a site that you ahve? say if i have a site soemwhere wtih a web-hosting site, can i make a personal chatroom to go with it? |

yes, but you'd need to be able to put java app on your website...
there's a bunch of free scripts you can download and put up on your website that will allow chat. Atleast I think so

Probably not. Java applets are compiled with Java compilers into .class files. |

since when can a chat only be done in java???
you could do it in javascript, make a form and when the form is submitted it writes to that page, and just make the page refresh every few seconds or so...and there you go...you gotta chat...not a very effecient one, but a chat haha....id say go to www.hotscripts.com or http://brinkster.com/CodeBank/ and just pick your langauge, and type in chat, with that site you can get a free host aswell...no PHP though |

Being a "newb" is no excuse. Read [The Rules] so you know what not to do. As for knowing how old it is look at the date the last psot was made; it's pretty easy to find. |
