|

I'm looking into UBC and McGill universities as alternatives to Waterloo and UofT (computer science). I've been to Vancouver for a few weeks and the city was amazing (even leaving out Whistler ) Does anyone know how that university compares to Waterloo and UofT for computer science or engineering or science? As well, Montreal seems like a fun city with lots of things to do. McGill is also consistently ranked highest for Canada and has a good reputation internationally. That said, does anyone know if their "severe funding issues" are really that serious? |

UBC is a great school. Even if McGill has "funding issues it sh"ould be irrelevent to you as an undergrad unless you want to do post-graduate studies |

Good Universities. Good cities to live in. UBC and McGill might not be as industry-connected as UWaterloo and UofToronto, but both cities have local tech communities that are growing well, so you could take advantage of that. |

I go to McGill, and the funding issues are irrelevant to undergraduate students. |
