Laptops to buy

Just a simple question: Should I buy a laptop on boxing day/week, or should I wait till summer and possibly get lower prices?

I would not get it on boxing day because only the older models, or those that are to be phased out, will go on sale.
I would personally get it in Q1 2012, around January/February, because there are better sales around this time (less publicized) on newly released models.

In addition, I have found that if you buy a laptop and continuously tell the salesman that the place next door is selling it for $100 less but you only go to the current store for better service, that product actually does go on sale the next week and you can go and use the 15 day price policy (I tried..maybe it was a coincidence, but it was funny).
