I realize that this is a compsci forum but i think this is interesting enough to be posted. It could have very deep implications for our understanding of the universe, The paper was published earlier yesterday.

lols, that is so very appropriate =)
It's true with results like this you need to beat the experiment to death before making any conclusions, and that's only conclusions about the data. The implications are a whole different story. My gut feeling is that it probably won't lead to an overhaul of physics but non the less its fun to be a delusional optimist and play mind games with wacky implications.

I can't speak to the paper's scientific merits, but it's really cool how on page 10 you can see that their reference GPS beacon is sensitive enough to pick up continential drift under the detector (interrupted halfway through by an earthquake).
