Hi Folks,

I am admitted for Fall 2011 at Concordia University for MACompSci. I just wanted to know more about Accomodation in Montreal.

I did check airbnb and it does not look like a cheap option for long term stay.

Could anyone please share an estimate for a 1 Single Room/Person with a shared Kitchen?

Also in case anyone else is looking for a similar accomodation, please PM me. Wink

Thanks in advance.

Jerry

airbnb is for short term stays... sort of like private residence "hotels".

If you are not going to stay in University's residence, then you are probably looking to sign a lease for the duration of your planned stay. Classifieds (craigslist, local newspapers) is a good place to start (it is strongly recommended to actually visit the place (or get someone in the city to do it for you), before signing any papers).
Latest from compsci.ca/blog: Tony's programming blog. DWITE - a programming contest.

Hi Jerry,

My family owns a house in which we rent rooms to students, maybe you would be a good fit?
We are looking for long-term, though, and are located in Outremont.
Feel free to send me a PM.

Philippe
