Well, let's hear it. Who has upgraded? What do you think? |

I started upgrading when it came out and finally went back and finished today. Not a huge fan of Unity.
Installed Arch with Gnome 3 and haven't looked back. |

Unity was just terrible. Thank goodness the classic desktop is still an option. I'm astonished that Unity was chosen as the default.
Otherwise I haven't noticed much difference, except that some scrollbars are harder to use. Oh, and Firefox is upgraded, but for that it seems like they just rearranged all the buttons.
Overall, I don't see any reason to upgrade my other machine at this time. |

I hated Unity at first (too Mac-like) but I'm starting to like it a little better now. I still like GNOME better, it involves less clicking. Also, there's a bug for me in Unity when I try to move an application to my desktop...annoying. I also find it somewhat slower, perhaps because of the enhanced visuals? |

I was gonna install an ubuntu on my machine, and when I heard 11.04 I thought maybe I should try it. I've heard though that it's very incompatable with programs right now. |

I'm hoping a lot of that is fixed soon. Of course I can always revert to using the GNOME desktop. As for Unity, no I don't like it yet, but I figure it's probably something the entire community is going to have to eventually learn to love. |
