Grad School Abroad

Hi All,

I'm wondering if anyone on the board has a degree from a university abroad?

I'm just finishing up my undergrad degree and trying to figure out if I want to stay here or go abroad for grad school, Masters of Science in Computer Science..

I have the option of staying in Canada or going to a school abroad. The difference is cost. Even with the stipend that schools offer here, I'm still looking at $9000/year in tuition and a stipend of about $16'000... The European schools I'm considering haven't offered me a stipend for the master's program, but none charge more than $1000/year in tuition. The foreign schools also have shorter programs with a free summer during which I can work.

I'm not really basing my decision on job prospects because quite frankly, the job market is quite plush right now and with my co-op experience, it seems to be quite easy to find a job. I want to get my master's because I want to specialise in something more interesting than just random coding for a big corporation.

I'm mostly looking to see if anyone here went to a school abroad and if so, the difference in teaching style, material, etc...
