Hi, i've talked to many people and last year people have gotten into waterloo's computer engineering program with averages of 83%,84% and 85%.
I'm currently looking at an 85% average by midterms.
My AIF was pretty good in my opinion,my EC's were:
Computer Educational instructor at seniors centre
Youth group assistant, mississauga south asian cultural organization
enviromental council at school
Amnestry International communcication exc at school for 2 yrs
WIBS, ESL assisstant at school
Parttime/coop student at an autobody shop for 2 months
Is it likely for me to get accepted with an 85% average to waterloo's computer engineering program? |

It varies from year-to-year and depends on a number of factors (who else is applying being a big unknown). So the best answer is: possible, but no guarantees. |

ya u'll most likely get in. they take a lot of ppl (actually the most) in electrical/computer engineering.
also note that MAJORITY of the offers are made from april to May (at least for us last semester). so if u don't c it within few weeks or so..don't loose ur hope. good luck |
