Hi..I am in grade 12 rit now..Its my second semester..I am a recent immigarnt..I have been in Canada for a little less than two years.. I have applied to waterloo, U of T, Mcmaster, Ryerson, Mcgill, Queen's and UOIT for Engineering..I am so worried these days..My avg rit now wid my three top courses is 87%..I have three courses this semster physics, Calculus and english..I believe that I can keep up an 87-88 avg at the end..I got accepted to UOIT already but I am worried and stressed if I will get into waterloo..I am involved in various extra curricular activities such as clubs, volunteer etc.. I also passed the TOEFL with 97 overall..Guys plz tell me honest opinions..My 1st choice is Mechanical, whereas my other choices are electrical and computer...
I would really appreciate ut opinions...Thanx |

If I tell you "yes", will you stop trying your best and just slack through you last semester?
If I tell you "no", will you trust the opinion of a stranger from the internet, and give up?
So I'll tell you that it is not unrealistic for you to get to your first choice, but it will require work. |

If you have an 86+ average, there's a good chance of getting in most of those universities. But you have to remember, many of them (at least U of T and UW) don't only check your top 3 marks; they typically check 6 (English, Calculus, Functions, Chemistry, Physics, and another U or M level course). |
