File Streaming

Hey,

I have attached a file with 2 more or less main functions. The first is a function which searches a given file for a given word. The second searches a given file for a given word and will replace that word (or the word next to it depending on what you want). The main issue I'm having is that the formatting has to be more set into the function. If you have any suggestions for the program I would appreciate the feed back.

And some sample test data would be:

John 80
Tree 10
Jessica 30

Bob 70
