i don't think there is a VB decompiler... my guess would be something about it being wrong to reverse engineer programs and seeing as M$ is behind VB, it just adds to it...
but I'm not sure ![Confused Confused](images/smiles/icon_confused.gif) |

Decompiling is messy to start with. Even C decompilers end up giving you code that is very hard to read (variables like a, b, c...) The decompiler has no idea what the original programer had in mind, and you can forget about any comments. The further away from the machine the language is the harder it is to decompile properly. VB is very far from machine language, so even if there was a decompiler out there the code would probably be a mess (hey, but who knows for sure) |

There is a Decompiler for VB 3 i think.. or there used to be.. somewhere.. but anything above 4 i think doesn't have one.. or is not supposed to have one

$ in M$ represents their monopoly Just something I picked up from dan I suppose
as for the decompiler - McKenzie is right. It would just result in a bunch of almost random code for all the activeX components more if programmer included other packages |
