http://www.ehow.com/how_5054848_remove-certificate-flags-internet-explorer.html
http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/ie6/using/howto/security/setup.mspx

The first link is probably more useful...is this a problem on every browser?

Turing off security checks is probably not the right approach.

Does this appear on _every_ secured website? It might be a problem with the date set in your computer's clock.

Will probably not fix the problem, but if she will not use another browser, at least get her to use the latest version of IE.

Don't get rid of the warning (by disabling them...) its most likely an incorrect date/time set on the computer.

I haven't tried that approach yet but yes on Firefox and IE.

Backing up the date is set wrong theory.

I also agree. Check to see if the date is correct. Also, does it work with other browsers? You should try Chrome or something because honestly nobody should still be using IE6.
