Hello people, I applied to Comp Sci Waterloo(recieved acknowledgement letter today), and when I checked the important dates on their site, it says that the AIF is due on March 4th, but the math contest is on March 1st, and there's also another computing contest in April, how am I able to fill out the section of AIF where they ask for your scores? Or they only look at your scores from the previous year. If anyone knows, please tell me more about it, thanks!!!

For Math and Programming contests hosted by Waterloo, they'll be able to look up your scores on their own. They'd need to verify those scores for it to matter anyway; remember that you one can write _anything_ on paper

So just note that you intend to participate.
Cool, thank you very much.

Wait, you already received your AIF form? I've applied already but haven't heard from UW yet =/

You can always mention that you will be participating in their math and computing contests this year. Then they'll know you're doing it.

When they ask you if you wrote other contests, from what year can you start to say you wrote contests? For example, what if in grade 9 you wrote Pascal, etc?
Also for the extracurriculars, I have a similar question. It asks you if you have any hobbies and so what if you play piano and you started before high school, are you allowed to put the start date as before entering high school? I know you can specify in the paragraph below but I'm not sure what to put in the date column :/

My guess is that everything that you've done during high school is fair. Pascal? Yes. Have you continued with piano through high school? Yes. Something else that you've stopped doing in grade 8? Probably irrelevant.
