Grade 12 is harder than grade 11. And university is a hell of a lot harder than grade 12 (especially in the physics department).

It's about the same level of difficulty. Niether harder nor easier. First year university is significantly harder, then it gets easier from second year onwards.

I disagree with the previous posts. 'Difficulty' is a very subjective word. For example, one might find grade 11 CS hard, so all the upper years would be harder. However, I don't think gr 11/gr 12/ university CS/Math/Physics or most of the other subjects are 'difficult', and here I use 'difficult' meaning that if you know what you are doing you'll be fine, and if you don't just work a little harder and you'll still be fine.

well when i was in school i lived in a small town and they had split grades.

basically grade 9/10 / 10/11 / 11/12

i feel this is a fail, because the courses are watered down. but i guess they didnt want to pay a teacher to teach a grade 12 course of 10 students.

By easier do you mean "if I put the same effort into my grade 12 classes that I exerted in my grade 11 classes, will I get similar grades?"

If so, the answer to that would probably be that you will get lower grades if all work effort is equal from year to year. In general being smart only gets you so far with grades, eventually you have to put in some hard work if you want to maintain a certain grade level.

If by easier you're asking "will a lot of the content be familiar from my grade 11 classes?", then the answer to that would probably be that some things will be familiar, some new.
