Hey Guys,
I'm in Gr 12 currently planning to apply to Computer Science and Software Engineering. I was just wondering what you write on the AIF (Admission Information Form) and if there is an essay that you have to write, cause I don't really like writing essays .
Also, kinda off topic, but I don't wanna have to make another thread, so If i plan on applying for the Business Administration + Computer Science Double Major at Waterloo and Laurier, should I still apply to Computer Science Co-op, or should i just apply to Business Admin + CS?
Thanks. |

to answer ur first thing, it's not really an essay but u gotta write some paragraphs. (so in a sense, it's an essay lol). the cs aif has less writing then the SE one.. but just write your essay such a way so u cud copy and paste it to both. tht's wht i did. lol |

I don't know about the CS AIF, but the engineering AIF has multiple mini-essays. They ask questions about your past experiences (volunteering and such), achievements, books/articles you read, your best traits for engineering, and some other ones. (At least they asked me those questions)
As for the CS degree, if you plan on doing the double major, you should just apply for it in the beginning. Although, beware, you will probably have a heavy workload. |
