It's coming time to apply to university, and I still have no idea what program I want to go into. I've always loved theoretical physics, math, and computer science, so I was looking at University of Waterloo's Mathematical Physics program, but was wondering if anyone here has, or is currently taking it. The program can be found at http://www.math.uwaterloo.ca/AM_Dept/mathPhys/
It seems to be the kind of thing I'm looking for, so I'll probably be applying to it either way, but I was curious if anyone had any input on how the programitself actually works, as there doesn't seem to be much of that on the website. What is the workload like? Do you know what job prospects are like for someone with the degree offered by the program? Any commentary on the course, or similar courses would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks! |
