I started by making a new symbol, and drew a circle, then put in 120 blankframes, and on the 120th frame, a new keyframe, and in the same spot as the circle, I drew a square. then I filled them with 2 different colours, and put a shape tween in.
Then on the main stage, I made a motion path, drew the line, and made a new layer, and put it as a sublayer to the motion path. Then again 120 frames, and click in the purple part and check off the 3 checkboxes near the middle of the properties menu on the bottom.
Then at frame 1, I put the symbol that I made earlier in, and put it at the start of my path, and then on frame 120, make a new keyframe, and put it at the end of the path.
I decided after to make this a continuous loop, so I had to make everything loop back to where it was, but thats easy. You just make another 120 frames on each tween, and turn the square back into a circle, and draw a new line from the end of line 1, to the start of line 1, and delete line 1 from frames 121 to 240.

Im not too sure what you mean.
If its just changing shape, and not moving, try right clicking on it and hitting play.
If its something else, let me know, and ill fix it.

Thank you
I know some pretty sweet things can be done when you combine multiple tweens, and I know they are quite difficult to explain, this was the simplest example I could think of, for explaining.
A practical example of this idea would be something like (assuming everyone has seen the korn video for freak on a leash) the bullet.
You could use the shape tween to 'rotate' it while the motion tween moves it accross the stage. (or for a better effect, use a shape tween to rotate, a motion tween to move the background, and shape/motion combo for the sweet bullet time ripples. )
Thats all for now. Ill post some more later.
