I was reviewing my grade 12 marks today:
Philosophy: 83
English: 82
Chemisty: 85
Physics: 83
Adv. Functions: 75 Shocked
Calculus: 70 Shocked
(Damn.)

I am currently enrolled in my Vicotry Lap year, but Calc, Computer Science and Computer Engineering are only offered second semester Evil or Very Mad, so I will need to stick around to repeat those courses for sure.

Now my question is this. Do I have any hope of getting into Compsci (Waterloo, Mac or Ottawa) with THESE marks? Also, does Software Engineering have less math than Comp Sci? Because math is clearly not my strong point.

Thanks for any info you can give me.

You could get into Computer Science at some University, yes. Some Universities are more involved with Math than others. If mathematics are your weak point, then Waterloo will have a ridiculous amount of math.

SoftEng -- also likely depends on a particular University's curriculum. It might also have higher admission cutoffs though.

woah, adv. functions and calculus must be tough...for grade 12. i find english to be my weakest point, i can write essays and stuff, but i can never get a 90%. math on the other hand, i get 96% above easy.
