What would you say the top ten computer science programs in Canada are, for reputation?

When it comes to recruitment from top tech corporations, I think University of Toronto and Waterloo University are both Tier 1 (top choices), UBC is in Tier 3, and all the rest are effectively on par.

Reputation will have a different distribution depending on the location. International companies have little visibility into the Canadian system, with the exception of a couple of "top" schools. If you are staying local, businesses might be more familiar with the Universities in their province, perhaps more so than "top" University based out of another province.

Ultimately, reputation is rather subjective, and not always useful. There are UW CS students without co-op jobs, and Ryerson CS students who are employed in the summer (a more competitive time of the year). So you can't rely on reputation alone.
