Hey guys,
I got my admission to CE in Waterloo around early March, and when I accepted their offer of admission I remember choosing some sort of "required additional residence information" check box..
Well a few months later I still haven't received that information, and having just finished my exams/graduation etc now, I really didn't have the motivation to check up on the website myself, especially since I had checked that required information checkbox. I simply thought they would email me if anything got serious.
Anyways, I checked on their dumb website today and it says in boldface (as if they are simply making this note for me) "The deadline for fall has now passed, and we are at full capacity."
At this point I went nuts and murdered my whole family, as I really didn't want to live off campus for my first year at Waterloo.
So, any suggestions on what to do guise? |

Call them. Ask them to keep you posted if they have any last-minute cancellations/drop outs. Also start looking into sublets/rentals around the area. Basically, you dropped the ball here and now you're going to get screwed. |

Fall residence gets filled up fast, and they really are "at full capacity". I believe there's a waitlist should cancellations happen, but don't count on that.
There are a lot of student rental housing adjacent to the campus, but once again -- you better start looking at this now.
There is also http://www.wcri.coop/ but it is _soo_ sketch.
Getting a sublet is your best bet. In a lot of cases though, you might have to sign a full year lease and then sublet a term out, if you are not staying on campus for the full year. Keep in mind that summer housing has _much_ less demand and not all units are filled, even at reduced prices. |

I'm not really sure what to say about your situation, but I'm pretty sure Waterloo emailed me about my residence preference form a while ago. |

The Math Department has said it will accomodate those students who want to take Math 1A, 1B, 16A, and 16B. Dont worry too much about it.
Remember that there is the 13 units minimum for an L&S student. |
