It's working out pretty sweet. Nice system.
Anyone tried it out?

I've never tried it out...actually never heard of it before. I did have a Nokia N800 some time ago which is what Meego OS seems to supersede...I dunno, if I had a choice of mobile OS platforms to develop on I'd go with Android just because of the steam that it's gaining along with the upcoming Google OS.
Android OS smart phones are popping up in all sorts of vendor's products, where Meego seems very Nokia specific. Of course that's a big market too, and maybe it will be something greater than that? |

yep, might have to pick up an Android device soon. My netbook is a pre-Windows era machine, so it's always been a POSIX based system. Linspire, Moblin and now Meego. MeeLikey.
Not news really, but I like developing OpenCOBOL samples and tidbits on this little box.
