Well that's what I'm doing. The person who threw this psu away cut the wires to so no one would take it. I soldered the ones i was sure were right.

On the motherboard power plug there is like 6 black wires and 3 pink and 2 red with some other colors. Are all the blacks the same and all the yellows the same or is each yellow specific to a certain pin of the plug?

If you know or know where i can find the answer i would be grateful.

Thank you.

If the guy was throwing it away, why would he cut the wires? Wouldn't he want people to take it?

I have no idea about the wiring.

No it doesn't. It searches Google for me, maybe your ISP redirects you to Bing for some reason?
