My First Game....

Just joined kuz i got bored....
Showing a game i made for a project for gr10 class....
Please look at the second or first line it's needed for fast computer kuz the school computers are pretty bad....

For the speed problem you should probably look into Time.DelaySinceLast. Also, a way of knowing in which direction the next bot will move (vertical or horizontal) would be helpful too.

Not bad. There was one time when I spawned on top of a red block and lost. Another time when I tryed to get a yellow block which was near a red block and when I got the yellow block I lost.

yeah that was a big problem because i had the square spawn before the game was set up... This only allowed me to actually reset the positions of each square.

thx for the suggestion(wish i posted this earlier because on the teacher's computer i had that speed problem too >.<. probably the only reason i got a 99% on it). I didn't really do much more researching than what i have already been taught. And i made which way it moved very unknown so that it would be more tricky.

Why Dota?

Umm... Don't know if you guyz notice but there's a secret character on the character screen. Hint : In the Middle of 4 boxes
Also the max number of red boxes that pop up are 9 or sumthing
And Finally, this is a "remake" of a flash game i found addicting. Dots was the name or something like that. But i changed the whole power up system and stuff like that.

Make a box out of four boxes, then click in the middle.

I was able to get this running on Windows 7, however, it was so fast that I rarely got to enjoy the original....

@USEC: I've encountered this before. The problem exists somewhere between the keyboard and the chair; you may want to start your search there.

Hah, hah, hah. I already fixed that. Except now the file is just a bunch of random characters. It might be the .zip thing I was talking about. I'll try to work on it.

Lol i'm sorry for those people using Windows 7 >.<, it works perfectly good on my computer, but it's pretty bad. Yeah when you see the wtfisthis. Try to increase the delay. The gameplay will be fine, but the introduction will be wacky and stuff....

I'm using Win7, and worked perfectly fine for me.

It works fine now. I have no idea why. Maybe it was just the Turing file I was using. The game is fine, a good first game. Add Time.DelaySinceLast or what ever it was to the next verision. Perhaps work on the graphics a bit.
