Hi everyone,

I am part of an ACM student chapter at my school and we are looking at starting up a small programming contest within our university for undergrads with the idea that we will grow enough interest to field a team for ACM-ICPC. I noticed alot of you on the site are involved in this type of thing (either as a participant or organizer). I was hoping you could all give me suggestions on how to run a good competition, what you liked about the ones you've been in, what works & doesn't work etc. (I personally haven't been involved in a competition since high school about 8 years ago, but there are others in our group who are involved in this type of thing more). Thanks in advance.
