strife... you poor kid. taking 'compsci' with ferrara. i had him for gr. 10 compsci and didn't learn a thing from him. seems to me that if you actually want to learn computer science you should come to the student help centre tomorrow and learn a few tricks while helping someone earn some community service hours. |

i have 40minutes
someone already asked me to teach them ogl. i guess i should learn it or something. at first i wanted to just use a free 3d engine so i could focus on the game... i was gonna use Irrlicht but i can't get over it's ugliness. |

Mazer, are you serious about Ferrara being such a bad teacher? Honestly I dont think hes the greatest, gets really moody sometimes.... but like dodge said, why do you need more than 40 hours? |

it's not that ferrara is a bad teacher, it's just that... he's not a teacher at all. maybe it's different having him for gr. 11 instead of gr. 10 (but probably not too different), but when i had him we did textbook garbage (like: what is a computer?) for half the year, and by the time he taught us anything turing related, i already figured it out thanks to the turing websites. i'm just saying if you wanna learn new stuff and impress your n00bish classmates, i'll help ya out. besides, i gotta tutor SOMEBODY! |

pff Mazer...
how about you come to T.O. and we take turns tutoring each other? I need hours too, cuz I've just got ~20 Though you dont really need over 40. Since its just a checkmark on the application thingy. |
