Hi, I'm a grade 12 student in Ottawa and I'm going to be applying to Computer Science at various universities over the break. I don't care about location, I just want to get into the best program(s). I'd like some help as to what programs are the best quality, and which have the best reputation, as those are the two biggest factors I will look at when choosing a university. I won't bother giving you my marks since I should get into most programs and will hope to get in the elite programs. Also, I'll be applying to atleast one of Carlton or Ottawa U. Which of those has the best CS program? |

To me, Carleton has a better CS program in Ottawa.
I currently go to U of T for comp sci so I'm quite biased. Waterloo is also very popular, and has a large reputation, but from what I hear it's very competitive once you're there.
I applied to Ottawa, Carleton, U of T, and Waterloo last year. They seem to be the popular ones. |
