For any one that wonders what the hardware and set up for the judge looks like:

Here are some pics of the set up i have for running the judge:

http://compsci.ca/~dan/room2009/

It's made up of 5 laptops, 1 LCD, 1 CRT and 2 tv screens.

Most of the laptops dual boot windows and a linux distro.

The laptops are an old alineware gaming laptop, an acer netbook, a eurocom desktop replcamnet, a hp tablet laptop, and a very old dell laptop witch screen fell off.

The two t.v.s are hooked both up to cable and the computers so the desktop can be extended onto them.

The computers are linked togther using Synergy so only one mouse and keyboard is needed to controll them all.

The judge's VM is noramly ran on the eurocom laptop witch uses the LCD to extend it's desktop (next round there hopfully will be 2 VMs, one of the LCD and one on the laptop's screen), well server data is displayed on the TVs and alineware. The old dell shows a live visualzation of server traffic. The hp tablet is used for comuncation during the contest (IM, IRC, e-mail) and the netbook is for playing media so i don't fall asleep :p

All the front end is done on the servers in a data center witch they won't let me in :p

I'm not sure, but I think that might be Dan's monitor there.
