How long is the break between coop and school?

Generally how long is the break between the end of a school term and the start of work? And, how many weeks do people actually spend in coop?

It's up to you to negotiate your start/end dates with your employer. There's a minimum amount of time that you must work to receive a credit, but it's short enough that it shouldn't ever be an issue.

It seems reasonable to leave yourself a week in between terms.

The length of the break also depends on the timing of your last exam.

The "break" between Winter and Spring terms can be as short as one weekend.

Ouch, mine always end up being a week or more - I tend to get lucky enough to have all of mine early.

I met someone last week who claimed to finish writing his exam at 9pm. Driving down to Toronto to catch the flight to Vancouver and start work the next morning.
