Quantum to Cosmos Festival: Ideas for the Future

Location: Perimeter Institute for Theoretical Physics and various venues in Uptown Waterloo, Ontario, Canada
Description: For 10 exciting days this October, Perimeter Institute?s Quantum to Cosmos: Ideas for the Future (Q2C) will take a global audience from the strange world of subatomic particles to the outer frontiers of the universe. All events will occur on-site in Waterloo, Ontario and online at q2cfestival.com.
Q2C will transcend traditional festivals by streaming events live and on demand. All events will be recorded and will also be available online at a later date.

Tickets: Nearly all events are free but tickets are required. Tickets available September 8, 2009.

Err...the PI lectures usually sell out of tickets in about 2 days. You can occasionally get in by standing in line to see if ticketholders fail to show, but only a few people ever get in that way.

They are both good and tremendously popular.

haha got my tickets at 9:01 am the day they opened, someone I knew tried to get some at 11am, they were all gone Razz

For ppl who didnt get tickets, some of the week will be broadcast on TVO (the Steve Paiken Show), so you won't miss out on all the fun Smile

Well, lucky me, I read this thread during Lunch. After lunch (this is the lucky part) my physics teacher announced that we were going to QtC for a class trip! Awesome.
