Hey Everyone,

So I was thinking, what programs do you guys/girls use for system repair and maintenance (more leaning toward maintenance).

-- These are all free-ware or have free-ware versions --

Here is a list of programs I personally use:
- Hijack This
- Process Explorer
- RootkitRevealer
- Spywareblaster
- a-squared HiJackFree (have not used latetly but was pretty decent)
- KillBox

Here is some I am considering:
- AutoRuns
- IObit Advanced SystemCare

Anyone have other suggestions?

Maybe Recuva if someone has deleted data. I just recovered about 350/370 pictures that my aunt accidentally deleted from her camera.

How does Recuva compare to File Scavenger (shareware) if you have used before?
andrew.

I've never tried File Scavenger before, but Recuva works quite well. It's freeware and it can recover files from your local hard disks as well as removable media like USB drives, iPods, SD cards, etc.
