Does anyone here play MTG? If so, what kind of deck do you run?

I loved that game back in grade 6 and such. This guy let me borrow his fire deck and it was awesome. I always got crushed by the old cards though. They're not really legal nowadays in tournaments, since it was so unbalanced. There was this one card (which my friend had like 3 of) that did as direct damage equivalent to the number of cards in a persons hand...for like 5-7 mana. It murdered me.

I later bought a double deck (starter I guess) that was blue-green.

Have you bought any packs lately?

Also, do you happen to have anything from Mirroden lying around?

Wow, I didn't think anyone else played on here. Haven't played in a while, but decks that are currently floating around:

2-land Belcher Twisted Evil
Dredge (Vintage-legal)
Dredge (Pre-rotation legal)
Swans combo
Worldgorger Combo
TEPS
Reveillark (Extended/Standard)
5-color control
and a partially built Domain Zoo variant

Do I play too much?

Edit: Affinity as well, about seven times over. That entire deck is commons Rolling Eyes

lol, yeah, the latest trend among Grade 10 and 11 gifted students at our school is Magic, followed at a distant second by Yu-gi-oh and followed even more distantly by regular playing cards.

oh wow, that's a lot of cards. And looking at some of those decks, i'm amazed at what you need. For example, one of the sites i found that recommended the swans deck required 4 Jace Belerens. Do you really have 4 jaces?

personally, I run a blue black artifact deck that revolves around pumping 4 Vermiculos and 4 Glaze Fiends with token generators, other artifact cards, Myr Servitors, etc. Then I use tokens to block during my opponent's turn.

I'm still trying to obtain Krark-Clan Ironworks and Myr Retrievers, which gives an infinite pumping combo. Also, i need Fabricate (to search my deck for those cards), Override and a Tezzeret or two. I also run one Broodstar and one Master of Etherium (this I want to get more of).

PM me or post if you have any of those cards.
