Well I'm going to be upgrading my motherboard and video card. I keep hearing mixed stories about how people have to phone MS and get their windows copy to be reactivated. I'm running a win xp media center system with an OEM copy of windows. I just want to know if there will be reactivation issues with windows or not. Also please don't say "use Linux" because I don't want to use it and besides this is a family computer and the rest of my family are more familiar with windows and it's programs. |

You only have to reactivate if you change a lot. You should be fine. |

You only have to call MS if you've activated your license of XP a lot of times in a short amount of time. If you haven't reinstalled lately, you should be fine. |
