how to retrieve a deleted document in a computer?

Hey! I was wondering about how to retrieve a deleted document in a computer, you always see it in a tv that its possible to get deleted data from a computer and I always wondered how to do that?

You can get a program to access your hardrive to recover deleted files.

A Hard drive stores information where the is no current data. So if you have a 10 GB hard drive and have used 2 GB you have put information on the first 20% of the drive the rest is empty then as you delete files they stay where they were and you create new file on the rest of the drive the other 80%

So if you file is still there because the Hard drive didn't use all the information at the end of the drive and start over or you didn't defrag it you file should be in the same spot.

These files are usually corrupt or partially deleted.

It should be noted that you can also use programs to wipe that free space so it can't be recovered. And about one wipe or over write is almost all it takes to make it next to imposable to recover anything even with an electron microscope.

I don't think CCleaner actually wipes free space. It just deletes files.

It has the option to overewirte those files a number of times when it deletes them so they are unrecoveable.

lol....this is a program that delets stuff soooooo well once running this...nothing is left

btw if i remember correctally...you can create a boot disk of this and it writes stuff onto your drive then whpes it many...many...many times so there could be no traces of anything

Wow that's a long time to go without defragmenting depending how long ago the first time you used it was.
