Yes there were groups like the dTeam and you could request to join certain groups.

Groups allow you access to hidden and protected forms as well as set user permissions based on what group you are in.

Most of the groups are only for staff members, but there are also the groups for teams working on projects related to compsci.ca. The teams are:

  • bTeam - Team that was working on a book about turing, now inactive.
  • cTeam - Team that was working on the compsci.ca comic, now inactive.
  • dTeam - Team that was working on OpenT, now inactive.
  • fTeam - Team that was working on v4 of the site, some what inactive.
  • DWITE - Team working on DWITE, active but very limited in who can join.

To join one you either need to PM me or the person running the team and they can set you up. However since most of them are inactive right now it is unlikey that you can join.

If you have a project you want to start with compsci.ca i can set up a group and hidden form for you if it is approved by the staff or you can try to restart one of the teams.

Well only dTeam and DWITE count and instead of inactive it should be abandoned since the are not even listed. Unless the stil have a member list.

Hey Dan I think you should make another post like this one and try to come up with more projects or groups.[/url]

No one had time to work on it and even fewer people involved with the project knew much about complier or programming language design.
