Fallout3

I don't see a topic but apologies if I have just overlooked it.

I love this game. It's the best game I have played in a long, long time. There seems to be a lot of issues with the PC version (if you check the fallout3 forums) but mine works fine. Anyone else play it?

I've been (slowly) playing through it on the 360. It's a spectacular game so far.

I haven't tried it, but my friends say it's nothing special. Just another shooter to temporarily distract the player from real life.

The first two ate up a good portion of my frosh year in highschool. Been playing Fallout 3 on the 360, and didn't do much else this weekend

The first round of mods are coming out for the PC version, and already I'm seeing a lot of stuff I love. The Chinese pistol and .32 revolver are no longer useless crap (rarer than the 10mm and weaker? Come on.) Cross-repairing items is handy if a little cheap. There's also a load of mods to make the game MUCH less forgiving.

Personally, I can't wait for the Pipboy to get mp3 capability.

been playing it on the ps3 and been lovin it so far. There were some issues where it would occasionally freeze up by Galaxy Radio though....

It's hardly a shooter in the sense of a FPS!

mp3 for Pipboy would be great! How do people go about making mods anyway? Like.. besides editing configs and stuff - I mean what language would they use?

When fallout 3 came out I said well I will not get this anytime soon. Only in a few weeks or months after a friends play it, so I started to play fallout 2 again, but I am stuck on the rat god. I keep traveling back to the first town healer and trying to get my 3 kicks in before healing again. I think he heals during my week long trips and also I think I remember if I take too long my village dies, or it that only in fallout.

Anyways I gave up a few days ago. Hope to play fallout 3.

I shamelessly pirated it, and I really like it. However due to the sheer amount of other things there are to do, I haven't played past lvl 5-6 x_x

It is far from "just a shooter". Great game.

edit: i just got it, and so far I'm not very impressed, I just got to megaton, and accidentally shot one person, now the whole town is after my blood and even if I die, when I respawn they're STILL TRYING TO EFFIN KILL ME!!! is this a glitch? how can i get past this? I'm taking it back if I don't fix it by tonight

you probably killed someone then went into a building and it auto saved so if you die it loads from that auto save

Great Game played it for over 45 hours. I didn't like the main story line plot very much
