OK, a new question to the members of this forum.
I'm currently completing the required math courses and gathering all the documents for the application process. I will apply as a trasfer student, through 105 application stream. Apparently, I am in the mid 90-s range in both of my math courses (taken with ILC), so it really hurts me NOT to apply to Waterloo, because I cannot leave Toronto for Waterloo (I'm a family girl, he-he). Did anyone have the experience of living in GTA and going to Waterloo? Or should I forget about that once and for all? |

Not that I know, but I'm sure at least one person has tried. Would you be driving or taking the bus?
Really though, I don't see it as practical without at least having somewhere to sleep for occasional overnight stays. Have you considered getting a place near Waterloo (maybe even residence) and just traveling home for weekends and holidays? |

It's hard enought going to university when you just live off campus in the city around it, going to waterloo as a full time student from aonther city each day would just be madness.
Gandlaf's idea of just going home on the week ends makes the most sence if you want to go to waterloo. |

If you live in mississaga is able to commute by car and don't mind the 90minute drive one way everyday and is able to wake up early enough for 8:30 classes (or don't take them), be my guest. if you are going to plan skip classes then i won't say its the right attitude |

Thanks, guys. I guess I will have to let this idea go. I cannot move to Waterloo, because I have a husband, a child and a house in Toronto, the husband has his own job and the kid has her school.
After all, UofT will be just as good right? |
