I know going into a web development discussion and mentioning Perl is a bit like walking into a modern poetry group and insisting that all your work be recited in Latin, but...

I work exclusively with Perl for work (I'd love to start using others, like PHP, but hey, I'm not the boss), and I frankly think we're behind the times, doing everything kind of scratch and whatnot. I'd like to explore the idea of using frameworks, but the only ones I know of are Maypole and Catalyst, and Catalyst seems to be the dominant one. I'm curious, has anyone here had any experience with them, heard anything, or just otherwise have any comments on them?

No experience with Catalyst, but I am fairly certain iusethis.com is built on it.
