I go to Lakehead and am finishing up my undergrad and love it.
Lakehead is a small school so it is not as well know as other universitys in canada or ontario. In fact alot of peoleop don't even know where it is. However i have found there eductional qaulity to be up to par with the rest or the universtiys in canada.
Lakehead is a primanaly undergrad universitivy meaning the fouces on undergrad programs (and have won awards for undergrad research), however this means the graduate studys don't get much atantion. There are few to no phd programs at lakehead and only a small amount of master postions (at least for computer science with around 12 students per year).
So i would recomenced lakehead for peoleop who like small schools and are doing an undergrad but for a masters it might not be your thing if you are looking for reputation.
Edit: Also lakehead just got a medical school and has been working on geting a law school so it might become more well know in the years to come (tho probaly not for CS). |
