i'm assuming you're going to install on a windows machine... so:
http://apache.mirrored.ca/httpd/binaries/win32/apache_2.0.47-win32-x86-no_ssl.msi
for apache

http://ca3.php.net/get/php-4.3.3-Win32.zip/from/ca.php.net/mirror

for php..

extract it to c:\php
look at your documentation and it will show you how to configure apache for php..

or if you're lazy look on google for php triad ... it will install apache, php and mysql ... but you'll still want to look over the settings to make sure everything is in order here sir

download phptriad from here :
http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=9325&release_id=75430

it's the best combination: apache+php+mysql+cgi+perl+++
you dont even need to configure anything... 8)

I knwo it's at sourceforge ... just google is easier to search rather than trying to find it at sourceforge

but you should still look over the settings because I know there's at least a few things that aren't set very good
