Meh.
Really Meh.
I dont know exactly what it is, but it seems I'm already having a hard time with this. It's not that I picked the wrong subject, just that all the introductory courses are HS repeats, and are to put, quite boring, and I've lost a lot of enthusiasm to attend. I can't bring myself to do repeat homework from G12 AP, and nothing interests me until next sem when I finally get an Engineering or computer coure, which is kinda what the program im in is named....
I dunno, what do you guys do when your subjects all suck? |

Make light of it and have fun with all that extra time you'll have because you can finish your homework lickety split? That's what I'm doing anyways. |

First year is generally ridiculously easy. You've got to keep in mind that students come from different backgrounds. Some regularly hang out on forums such as this. Others went to high schools that scrapped their CS program completely (for whatever reason).
For many, it's also a big change in a life-style, especially if they've moved out and are now living on their own.
First year is expected to bring everyone to a more leveled playing field. Difficultly curves up when profs can expect their entire class to have a certain set of prerequisites. |

Yep. I'd spend the extra time getting in a good campus life. Volunteer. Join a club or two. Get to know people outside your curriculum. Enjoy it while it lasts. |
