OK so earlier today I decided to participate in a video contest called "I Love Science" where Canadian high school students were invited to make a 30 second video of explaining why they love science.
Two winners will be selected to go see Steven Hawking at an event in Waterloo in June. You can get full contest details here.
Alright so I decided to submit my entry today and so far I think I'm doing really good because I got featured on the page for "video of the day," even though there were very few entries.
And I just wanted a bit of feedback from the Compsci community here. Plus, if you like the video and have a Dailybooth account, remember to rate the video, comment, and like through Facebook.
I know I talk fast, but there was a 30 second limit.

You're absolutely terrifying. And that video was awesome. Have fun with Mr. Hawking.

- Decent editing with the post-effects.
- You've listed branches of science and both micro and macro scopes, but your entire point boils down to:
- "not getting hit by a bus"
- which is not really learned by a scientific method (that is, children rarely observe the phenomenon of someone getting hit by a bus, construct hypothesis that it might hurt, and setup controlled experiments to hit more test subjects with buses of various models)

Haha, I love your scientific method there Tony.

Dang. I got a feeling most people wouldn't understand what I was trying to say there. I was trying to say science is just one of those things you need to learn as a kid. And I made reference to another thing you need to learn as a kid, which is don't cross the street without looking both ways. I'm not saying that learning to cross the street involves a scientific method.
Sorry it sounded like that, because of the way I said it.
Edit: Plus, I haven't had enough experience yet to get strong messages across in 30 seconds.
