I'm all for delays when it comes to particle accelerators. Caution being a good thing. 10s of trillions of electron volts whipping around a 27 kilometer race track needs the utmost of proper care and feeding. Don't worry apomb; well within your lifetime they will plumb down to the teenie weenie depths of sub-subatomic particles and find traces of the 8 trillion pico-monkeys randomly pounding out Windows 7. ![Smile Smile](http://compsci.ca/v3/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif) |

At least this isn't any more of the "omg it will eat our world" nonsense - they're just being careful about setting it up right to avoid millions of dollars in broken machinery. |
