internet problems

I cannot get into hotmail, yahoo, facebook, and other things. I reset my hotmail password and everything was fine for a day then it wen't back to screwing up. It loads pages halfway and sometimes not at all. I have IE and Firefox can anyone help me?!

We can't help you if we don't have sufficient information, and frankly you haven't given us anything to work with here.

What, if anything, happens when you go to hotmail, yahoo, facebook, and anything else that's blocked? What's your ISP, and what versions of IE/FF are you running? Are you running plugins for either (AdBlock, FlashBlock, JSBlocker, etc).

Sanity checks:
1. Have you installed a firewall or new router recently?
2. Have you messed around with the Windows firewall, or connection settings?
3. Is there any net-nanny software (to prevent minors from seeing inappropriate sites) installed on the machine?
4. Have you run anything suspicious on that computer, and when was the last time you ran a virus scan?
5. Is the machine in question displaying any other unusual characteristics or problems (slowness, strange errors, apps not launching, files missing or mysteriously created, etc)?
