I bought a T9300 for putting in my P-6831 for a better option than the stock T5450.
However this thing had to have the most powerful thermal glue I've ever seen and be aware that this is a bad thing. I can't get it off! Oh and to mention it likes to overheat when starting/running Vista. Before complaining OMGVISTASS!WTFBBQ! It overheated once in frikkin BIOS. Yes you heard that right. Any way, I can't remove the glue, even withh all the below:
-85% ethanol
-acetone @80%
-babyoil (lol)
-isopropanol@ 99.9%
-Hairdryer+more IP 99.9
-heating metal rod+ MORE IP 99.9
All I can say is wtf, so I'm shipping back to intel, seeing as absolutely nothing has changed. Not even a scratch. |

Let me guess, you used up all the glue?
When applying the glue you're supposed to apply an extremely fine layer, not the whole lot. |

No, this stuff came on the T9300 boxed from intel
EDIT: I wanted remove it to apply AS5, and yes, I know to only apply half-rice sized applications spred over the enitre body. |
