not bad for a start - although there's a lot of gaming sites out there, so you might have to put in some work before getting noticed.
I personally think you need a better site style (change the colors, add some graphics). Its just too dark and... well empty.
Also the banner needs some work. You need to make it appealing to the users.

lol... i forgot to mention i just started building it like yesterday? and the banner is temporary!

I've always found teh easiest way to make a layout is to start in photoshop and make the entire layout as one big graphic and then split it up into the smaller parts that will allow the content to fit into it (ie split it up into smaller images that fit a table that allows the content to be presented) |
