Heres my final project for grade 10. I decided to build a game engine, and this is sort of the random mini-project I built along side to test it. Its really simple, and actually pretty boring.

Basically, you drive down an endless road filled with random potholes and cars. The main objective is to squish as many cars as possible while avoiding the random onslaught of potholes. Once your health runs out, I guess your tires explode or something and your doomed to walk along the never-ending highway, aimlessly searching for the truth of what it means until you succumb to the mediocrity of it all and die of boredom. Such is life.

Anyways, I think the game engine itself is abstract enough to be used on a variety of different 2d projects. It runs fairly well, usually around 30 - 50 fps, but it relies heavily on the Turing Sprite class, so you can't generate executables with it. Everything is object oriented, so it's pretty easy to work with. If anyone seriously wants to use this engine I'd be more than glad to write out some documentation for it (although I'm sure there are way better engines available). Any suggestions or general comments would be appreciated. Enjoy!

Well, you seem to have forgotten to put the intro text back into you FP after I fixed it. So you didn't look over it, you just took it and handed it in? That, my friend, is dissapointing.

Oh, and that game is AWESOME! Love the customization bit!

Glad you all like the game (and the description Razz)! And thanks for the bits nastynika!

Oh, I forgot to mention (although I somewhat implied) that you are free to modify and use any of the source code or graphics for whatever you like. The Png's were all made in Macromedia Fireworks, but can probably be imported into most image editing software if you want to use them.

@ insectoid

Intro text? Sorry, but am I forgetting or missing something? Eh

Oh, sorry, it seems I extracted your game into the same file as the code of someone I helped...

Forget I said that whole thing about the dissapointedness and that...I feel pretty dumb right now.

We went over this already. Asking for source code 5 times looks bad.
